Animoca Brands suffered damage for 20, 7 million dollars. The culprit was hackers who ransacked its subsidiary platform Lympo (a service for minting sports NFT). The criminals managed to withdraw , 2 million LMT tokens for the amount of 22, $ 7 million.
According to the statement, 10 January hackers hacked 10 users’ hot wallets. Then they sent the stolen tokens to one address and exchanged them for ether through the Uniswap and Sushiswap exchanges. The criminals have already managed to withdraw the received ethers to third-party wallets.
